Regulator, characterized by administrative independence, with a mission to promote and protect public health by means of sanitary control of production and marketing of products and services subject to sanitary surveillance, including the environments, processes, inputs and technologies related to them. In addition, the Agency has control over ports, airports and borders and interacts with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign institutions to deal with international relations in sanitary area. |
